Partners for Innovation is intensifying its collaboration with Jason Schäffler (Nano Energy) in South Africa. Schäffler is an experienced developer and technical and policy analyst specialized in energy, electricity and renewable energy.
Schäffler has studied the environmental and economic benefits of small-scale power generation and advocates for renewable energy policies at both the provincial and national level in South Africa.
He has a wide range of project experience in several African countries, including Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Kenya. He holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Development from the University of Cape Town and a degree in physics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
