Intern assesses WARM methodology

Roderick Ruinard, intern at Partners for Innovation, is investigating the practical applicability of the WARM method for profitable waste and return management. Roderick studies Science, Business and Innovation at the Free University of Amsterdam. During his four months internship, which started in September 2012, he will complete his Bachelor of Sciences thesis.

Roderick’s research focuses on testing the suitability and applicability of the WARM methodology (Winstgevend Afdank Retour Management) for several clients of Partners for Innovation. WARM provides companies insight in the financial feasibility of product or component re-use and re-manufacturing. One of the goals of his research is to show what is needed to apply the method in practice.
