Client: Oxfam Mali and Stop Sahel
Period: 2014
Together with Oxfam Mali and the NGO Stop Sahel, Partners for Innovation developed a project to pilot smallholder agroforestry enterprises in Mali.
Stop Sahel has been working with farmers for 25 years to develop ecological agroforestry gardens. Some simple investments – like in a well, micro-dosages or fencing – can make such Agroforestry gardens in Mali more productive.
Partners for Innovation has supported the development of business plans for three groups of smallholders and a pilot for longer term micro-credits (2 to 3 years) to improve garden productivity.
